Jesselton Quay Media Day by SBC Corporation & Suria Capital

SBC Corporation Berhad, together with joint venture partner Suria Capital Holdings Berhad, held a media day on 3 December 2025 to bring journalists and media representatives together for a focused look at the Jesselton Quay development. JUMPA was appointed to make it happen.
Jesselton Quay is not a small story. It is a landmark joint venture between SBC Corporation Berhad and Suria Capital that is reshaping Kota Kinabalu’s waterfront, with Phase 2’s Q Suites progressing steadily at the time of the event. Getting the media day right meant more than just booking a room. It meant making sure every touchpoint, from the moment guests arrived to the moment they left, reflected the calibre of what was being announced.
The scale:
- A focused media day bringing together journalists and press representatives from across Sabah’s key media outlets. Joint principals from SBC Corporation Berhad and Suria Capital Holdings Berhad both present. JUMPA handled the full event from planning to execution with assistance from the SBC team.
What we did:
- Full event planning and programme flow, press release preparation and distribution, goodie bag curation, emcee services and on-ground coordination across the entire session.
