Official Media Team at SOGCE 2026

The Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference and Exhibition, now in its 13th edition, is one of Sabah’s most established gatherings in the space. The event converges major industry players, government agencies, energy companies and emerging clean energy players under one roof at SICC.
JUMPA came in as the official media team for the event – appointed to capture photo and video highlights of the full programme across every level, every session and every moment worth capturing.
The scale:
- 13th edition of SOGCE – one of Sabah’s longest-running oil & gas industry events
- Guest of Honour: YB Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Joachim Gunsalam, Deputy Chief Minister I of Sabah and Minister of Works & Utilities
- Multi-level event spanning Level 3 and Level 5 of SICC
What we did:
- Official media team – photography and videography
- Full 2-day event coverage across the main forum, exhibition and and side events
- Quick-turnaround photography for the opening ceremony
Insider’s take: The challenge with an event like SOGCE isn’t the scale, it’s the split. Four programmes running at the same time across two floors means your team has to be everywhere at once without missing anything. The GOH arrival, the conference sessions upstairs, the exhibition floor buzzing below, the programmes running in parallel – all of it happening simultaneously. Team coordination is paramount.
