JUMPA x Karnival Esports JKR Sabah 2026

When JKR Sabah wanted to bring their people together for something different, they called on JUMPA to make it happen. Appointed as the official Event Organiser for Karnival Esports JKR Sabah 2026, we took the brief from zero — building and running a full two-day esports carnival for staff and participants from across the state.

This wasn’t just a tournament. It was a proper production — staging, rigged-up esports setups, food trucks, side events, crowd management, and a full Mobile Legends: Bang Bang main bracket running front to back across both days. The kind of event where everything had to work, and it did.

The scale:

2-day event open to JKR Sabah staff and participants statewide
400+ attendees
Main stage Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament (group stage through to single-elimination finals)
Multiple side event zones running simultaneously across the venue

What We Did:

Official Event Organiser — full end-to-end build and execution
Sponsors and partners, staging, backdrop, and full esports rig setup
Side events: sim-racing, PS5 stations, arcade games
Food trucks, emergency services and logistics coordination
On-ground crew: emcees, marshals, tournament commentators and livestreaming

Insider’s take: Esports events look cool from the outside but the logistics behind them are no joke, from sourcing the right rigs to making sure the bracket runs on time with no technical meltdowns. Things can go sideways fast, from blackouts to unsatisfied players, so it is important to always be vigilant.
